For athletes and everyday people who are sick of random workouts that go nowhere. Structured, individualised programming that actually moves the needle.
See Coaching OptionsIt's probably not your effort. It's probably your approach.
Bodybuilding splits, HIIT classes, 75 Hard - these are all methods. And methods can work. The problem is, where do you go from there? How are you progressing? What's the next step? Without understanding the principles behind your training, you're just jumping from one method to the next, hoping the new one works better than the last. Once you understand the principles - how to progress, how to structure, how to adapt - you can choose the right methods for you, rather than grabbing the next thing you see online and ending up confused and back at square one.
75 Hard is a mental toughness challenge, and there's value in that. But once it's done, where do you go? What's next? Is doing two random workouts a day for 75 days actually answering your long-term health and fitness question, or did it just keep you busy for a while? A challenge gives you a finish line. Training gives you a direction.
They might even work for a while. But there's a difference between exercising and training. Training is planned, targeted, and tailored. It fits around your schedule, your preferences, your injuries, and your goals. It's not something you follow for 8 weeks and move on from. Learning how to train properly is a lifelong thing. Even athletes at the highest level are still finding ways to improve their performance. So if you're sick of bouncing between the latest fads and starting from scratch every few months, maybe the answer isn't another programme. Maybe it's actually learning how to train.
We don't start with exercises. We start with you.
Where do you want to be? What does that look like? We get clear on the destination first, then we build the road that gets you there and works best with your schedule.
Three days a week? Forty-five minute sessions? Carrying an injury? Good, we build around that. A programme that fights against your life won't last. A programme that fits inside it will.
No guessing. Every session is logged and monitored. You'll always know if it's working because the evidence is right there.
No mystery. No pressure. Here's exactly how it works.
Choose the coaching tier that fits your situation. Online or in-person. Done in two minutes.
We talk through your goals, your history, your schedule, your injuries. Everything I need to build something that's actually yours. Not a template. Yours.
Custom programming delivered through the app. You train, we track, we adjust. Every month we review and plan the next phase together. No guesswork. Just progress.
I'm a self-confessed training addict. My first gym was a cast iron barbell set in my parents' garden shed with a rusty bar and plates that didn't match. I had absolutely no idea what I was doing but I loved every second of it. The programmes I wrote back then make me physically cringe, but honestly that shed is where the whole obsession started.
For a long time I was just winging it, and it worked well enough until I hit a wall. I kept doing the same things, getting the same results, and eventually I had to figure out how to actually go further. That's what sent me down the rabbit hole of learning how training really works. And I think that's where most people get stuck too. It's not that they're lazy, it's that nobody ever actually showed them how to train properly. You get a gym membership, someone shows you how not to crush yourself on the leg press, and then you're pretty much left to figure the rest out on your own.
I've been coaching for over a decade now and I still play semi-professional football so I'm very much still in it, not just writing programmes from behind a laptop. The difference between shed-me and now-me is years of study, years of experience on the job, and conversations with hundreds of people who just needed someone to show them how to train with purpose. My programmes have a lot more substance to them these days but the enthusiasm from that garden shed hasn't gone anywhere. I got into this because I believe everyone deserves to understand how to train properly, and once you do it stops feeling like a chore and starts feeling like something that's actually yours.
"I've been training with Ben online for over 2 years. We catch up every month, review and re-assess the next 4 weeks. I've been working with some injuries and Ben has worked closely to fit my rehab into my plan. In the past year I managed to get back out running a half marathon after a 2 year break."
"I've been working online with Ben for over a year now and I'm so happy with the progress. Ben has taught me how to manage and train to support my running goals. Everything is progressed and tracked through the app which takes all the guesswork out for me. In my most recent run I hit a 5 minute 10K PB, nearly breaking the 40 min target."
"I've been working with Ben for about six months now. We catch up weekly and have really dialled in my nutrition and consistency. So far I've dropped nearly 4 kilos and I'm closing in on my target weight, all while keeping my muscle mass pretty much intact. That was the big one for me."
Pick the option that fits your life. No lock-in contracts. No hidden costs.

For Melbourne-based clients who want face-to-face coaching.
Here's the honest answer: if you follow the programme, track your sessions, and actually do the work, you will progress. That's not a sales pitch. That's how training works when it's done properly. If after 30 days you genuinely feel like you're not getting value, reach out and we'll sort it. No drama. No awkward conversations. I'd rather you told me than quietly disappeared.
No. Performance coaching is for anyone who wants their training to actually go somewhere. You don't need to be an athlete. You just need to want more than random workouts. If you've got a body and a goal, this is for you.
That depends on how much longer you want to spend guessing. You can keep doing free programmes off the internet and hoping something clicks, or you can invest in something built specifically for you, tracked properly, and adjusted every month. The people who've been here for over a year aren't staying because they're bored. They're staying because it works.
That usually means one of two things: the programme wasn't built for you, or there was no accountability. This isn't a PDF that gets emailed and forgotten. We check in regularly, track everything through the app, and adjust as we go. If something isn't working, we change it. That's the point.
If you're a complete beginner, I'd always recommend getting some personal 1:1 coaching first, whether that's with me in person or with a good PT near you. You don't need to be super advanced to start online coaching, but you do need a basic level of competency in the gym so you can execute the programme safely and confidently. If you're not sure where you sit, drop me a message and we'll figure out whether online or in-person is the right starting point for you.
That's one of the first things we figure out together. If you've got three days and 45 minutes, we build for that. A solid programme you can actually stick to will always beat a perfect one you abandon after two weeks.
Gold gives you more contact, weekly check-ins, nutrition guidance, and priority messaging. Silver is for people who are more self-sufficient and mainly need the programming and monthly reviews. Both get custom programmes and tracking through the app.
Yes. No lock-in. If you want to move from Silver to Gold or vice versa, just let me know and we'll sort it from the next month.
Your body doesn't reward your best day. It rewards your most consistent, most intentional, most purposeful days. Let's make every session count.
